FRET (Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) techniques for the detection of protease contaminants

The FRET technology used by PANATecs is based on synthetic peptides which exhibit a measurable increase in fluorescence after hydrolysis by proteases.

The P-Check technology developed by PANATecs is a system based on a peptide library, with which protease contaminants with a wide variety of specificities can be rapidly, universally and very sensitively detected. P-CHECK is suitable for the detection of proteases in a very wide variety of samples, including raw materials in the manufacture of diagnostic testing kits and for the control of the production process in the manufacture of biopharmaceuticals.
