Günter Steffen

Mr. Günter Steffen founded the TDS in 1975 and led the company as Chairman of the Board till 1975. Since then, he has fulfilled various functions in the supervisory board. From 1998 to 2005, Günter Steffen was President of the IHK Heilbronn-Franken; he was appointed Honorary President in 2006. Günter Steffen is currently active in numerous supervisory committees. He concentrates on the support and financing of innovative start-ups in different organizations. He focuses on financing and coaching young companies with the Heilbronner Zukunftsfonds [Heilbronn Funds for the Future].

Rainer Baule
Chairman of Fresenius Kabi

Since 01 June 1997, Rainer Baule has been a member of the board of Fresenius. Since 07 May 2001, he has been Chairman of the Board of Fresenius Kabi AG. From 1996 to 1997, he was Chairman of the Board of EG&G Berthold, Bad Wildbad. Since 1979, he has fulfilled several senior managerial functions in Germany and the USA for the Carl Zeiss Group in Oberkochen. His last position was as Head of Division and member of the Zeiss Group managerial board. He began his professional career as Managing Director of Komeg-Kontroll-Technik GmbH, Riegelsberg. Rainer Baule studied industrial engineering at the TU Darmstadt.

Prof. Dr. Gerhard A. Müller MD

Director of the Department of Nephrology and Rheumatology, Faculty of Medicine, Göttingen University

Since 01 October 1993, Prof. Müller (61) has been Medical Director of the Department of Nephrology and Rheumatology in the Center for Internal Medicine in the Georg August University, Göttingen. He is also currently the Managing Director of the Center for Internal Medicine in Göttingen University. From 1997 to 1999, he was Medical Director of Göttingen University Hospital. Since 2002, he has been Director of the Cooperative Rheumatism Center in Göttingen. Since 2008, he has been Medical Director of Balzerborn Rehabilitation Clinic in Bad Sooden-Allendorf. In 2009, he organized the annual meeting of the German Society for Nephrology in Göttingen. Prof. Müller studied medicine at the LMU Munich.
